A good day!

While today wasn't as productive as I had hoped it would be (I had wanted to get my final paper for one of my classes finished and turned in today which didn't happen, hopefully tomorrow) I was still able to get some stuff done. Also, I tried out day 1 of Chloe Ting's 2 week shred challenge today! One of my friends started it yesterday, I read up on it and was intrigued so I've decided to give it a go. It's only two weeks so I figured I might as well give it a try! Day 1 was hard- I had to modify a lot of the exercises- but I know I'm only going to get stronger as the weeks go by. It's definitely longer increments than I usually work out my core for but it'll be good for me. I'm excited for day 2 tomorrow! Earlier in the day, I spent 40 minutes walking with my mom and dogs. My first blog post!

Hello hello! Welcome to my blog! I was inspired to create a blog because I love writing and wanted to just write down my thoughts in one place. I want to focus on fitness because that's something that's been an important part of my life recently and is providing me with a sense of normalcy during this crisis. My classes are online now and it can be hard to structure my life so I've been using exercise to help me do that! So what did I do today? Well, let me tell you! I got up at 6:45 but it took me a while to actually get out of bed and get ready to go. I was in exercise clothes and out the door just before 7:40 and then proceeded to go for a 4 mile run! It was pretty hard, and I did have to stop a couple of times while waiting for traffic lights to turn green, but I ended up completing my run in under 40 minutes (like, 3 seconds under, so just barely). I'm a pretty slow runner and my running route is superrrr hilly so this was really exciting for me! I kind of ...
